Parking

Unitarian House has parking space for only 12 cars in the front forecourt. We try to reserve these spaces for people whose access may be restricted by age or disability. Most attenders park along Osmond Terrace, or along William or Alfred Streets. On a busy Sunday, close to the start of service, available space along these roads can be some distance, so this may entail a short stroll!

Accessibility

Our building and our services are accessible to persons with disabilities. Hymns are projected in large print on an AV screen.

What to wear

There is no expected standard of dress for services. Some dress casually, others more formally.

Children are most welcome!

We offer a monthly Sunday Club program for children. On these Sundays, the first 10 minutes (or so) of our services are intergenerational. Children gather at the front for our ‘Story for all Ages’ before going off to Sunday Club under the supervision of qualified adults in adjacent rooms.

When you arrive…

On arrival, you’ll be met by one of our friendly Greeters who will provide you with a name tag (if desired), as well as a ‘Welcome Pack’ which includes some general information about Unitarianism, as well a guest form you can return if you want us to stay in touch with you.

Before you leave…

You don’t have to rush off! Feel welcome to stay after the service for coffee, tea, and chat.
