The Unitarian Church of South Australia, Inc., is a non-profit spiritual community affiliated with the worldwide Unitarian and Unitarian-Universalist free church movements. We are independent and entirely self-governed.
As a progressive and inclusive faith community, we are covenanted not by doctrine and dogma, but by liberal religious principles distilled from the essential values of all world religions, as well as the arts, sciences, and humanities.
These principles are a living document, subject to free individual interpretation, and are not a creed.
Our first principle affirms the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We therefore welcome LGBTIQ+ people and affirm their equality in our community – in attendance, service and leadership.
Come and join in one of our 10:30 AM Sunday service gatherings at 99 Osmond Terrace, Norwood. They last for about an hour and are followed by a social hour with coffee and tea provided.
The purpose of our gatherings is not to expound doctrine but to challenge you to deeper personal reflection, and stir you up to a more considered personal faith and more ethical living. There’s also some nice music — from classical, to Jazz, to R&B!
